What if your living spot is designed in such unique and out-of-the-ordinary-way manner that will make every head turns as they walk by? What is your house is designed in such artistic and amazing way that make people talk and admire whenever they are passing by? Certainly, this can make the house so stunning and uniquely different with other house. Now, let’s see one of the examples in Germany.
That’s the case with the funnel wall which is located in Dresden, Germany. This so called Funnel wall gets its name because of its unique funnel design on the exterior side. After all, being situated in Neustadt Kunsthofpassage, an artistic neighborhood in Germany, it is no wonder if the building is designed and decorated in such unique way. From the first look, anyone will notice that the funnel has totally made the house so different. It’s so artistic in certain way.
The funnel wall itself was created by three famous artists in Germany; André Tempel, Annette Paul, and Christoph Roßner. They have filled the wall with gutters and funnels, making the outer wall look artistic as well as strange. And since Dresden is known for its artistic quality, the building has become the talk of the city.
The building itself is the combination of traditional and modern look, with catchy and bright blue cover. It comes in four-five stories building with blue as the dominant color. But instead of covering the wall with regular and plain blue, there are patterns and graphics on the wall, making as if you were looking as the moving sea waves. The doors and windows are also covered in darker blue, but since there are other colors included, it is not plainly blue coverage. And the funnels are displayed in such attractive arrangements, making the whole design playful and also adorable.
