Wall mounted nightstands enable us to have more place to save things without crowd our small room space. For a simple look, we can have a shelf held up by a bracket. Usually, it has one open shelf to give us easy access to our stuffs and a drawer. A better one has a little stylish with a flip-down cabinet rather than a drawer. Those wall mounted can be made wood which composite with a bamboo veneer or solid wood. When we need more qualified one, we can choose those which made of farm harvested and sustainable bamboo. We can also choose any stain color for the lumber or any wood variety we like.
Besides, we can also make our own wall mounted nightstands easily. We can select two pieces of lumber that are the length we want and select two equally sized side pieces that will create the desired width. We can buy them precut, cut them to size our self or have a home improvement store cut them for us. The box can also be rectangular or square. Then, we can lay the four pieces of wood on their sides and assemble the box. We can use an electric drill to screw two woods. After that, we can measure the total length and width of the nightstand so that we can cut a piece of plywood to match them. Next, we can glue the plywood along the box edges, on all four sides. We should lay the box on the floor and let the glue dry for 24 hours.
To hang the wall mounted nightstands, we can drill two pilot holes in the plywood backing and hold them against the wall where we want to install them. We can use a pencil to mark where the pilot holes are located. Then, we can set the nightstand down and drill through the marks on the wall. We can insert a wall anchor into each hole if we are drilling into drywall.
